HDTach 3.0.1.0. is what I have.... I just wanted to see how my IDE drive(s) in raid5 compared to some of yours, and perhaps a few SATA drives as well....

My scores are :

Average read - 93mb/sec
CPU Utilization - 10%
Random access - 13.6ms
Burst - 181mb/sec

Generally, synthetic hard drive benchmarks are very poor judges of desktop hard drive performance, and aren't used very often. Much like video card benchmarks, 3DMarks don't matter, image quality in the games you play does. Rather than run synthetic tests, most users simply test their drives by how fast they 'feel' in the work they do. However, they can be useful as a diagnostic tool for finding problems with interface drivers or mechanical abnormalities.

Oh ok... thanx.... it does 'feel' faster then when I was running 0+1 on a cheaper controller... but I wasn't sure...
