I've been having a problem that I recently was concerned about (and posted about on the Intel boards with no responses). My computer would turn on, monitor would initialize, then I'd get a non-blinking _ on screen for a period of 1-2 minutes before the bios post screen would pop up, and everything would continue with no other issues.

Well, now, after the Intel post screen has cleared I'm getting a long, pulsating beep on the following screen.

Marvel 88se61xx adapter Bios version 1.1.0.L70
Initializing.

It's not a 1-6 rapid beeps thing, the sound is continuous but does pulse. If I were forced to tell the pattern it'd be kinda a long beep changing in tone every 2-3 seconds. Of course, at that point the computer fails to continue beyond that screen. I've reseated the memory, sata cables, etc, but I'm still running into the issue.

Anyone have any ideas? I've already emailed Intel about it but don't expect a response until tomorrow.

Edit: Update- I managed to complete a boot by entering the setup screen, exiting and saving, but the first issue is still present. I think both problems are still present, simply because I've done nothing to change or fix them.
