What is the purpose of this poll, and why are there no options for Core 2 Duo/Quad? I think you'll find there will be a lot of "other" if people were actually interested in this poll.
 
Still rocking an E8400 after two years. Just did some routine maintenance on the rig. Removed old AS5 and re-applied. Dusted everything. Back to 3.6 and going strong.
 
That's a really bad poll that's geared towards only intel. Fanboy maybe?
 
I don't understand this poll. You have 4 separate categories for the i7 9xx series, and only 3 other categories, including an other category.

You might as well asked "which Intel i7 9xx do you own?"

my be i'm not as close as you guys, but got P4 2.8GHz running since 2003, rock solid and i tell you how rock solid is it. it runs two WoW together at around 45 FPS combine. will thinking on going SB now will wait about a month or so before jumping.

If you never tried a dual core, then it might be a rock solid for you.. But let me tell you, there is no way back once you try it.

i also have dual core (in laptops) and 955BE so i know how fast they are of course as main gaming rig, none the less the P4 is least 40% of their speed, and yes i have used another P4s from 2.4 to 3GHz and i feel like getting lucky with both processor and computer as whole.
 
My game rig is currently running a QX9650 @4.2 .
I have many other machines with many other CPU's also...
 
Well, poll seems pretty useless. My useless CPU will go well with it:

Athlon XP 3200+

Rockin WoW 800x600, min settings, at about 13 FPS in capital cities paired with a FX 5200. Waiting patiently for Sandy Bridge.
 
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550; 2.83GHz/1333/12M/1.1875v/E0

Was running at 3.4GHz/1600 at stock voltage, but I decided to put it back to stock since I don't game hardly at all on my PC anymore as of late.
