Yah, Im pretty sure it can. (SNES for sure, DOOM = possible)

HAHA the PSP has tab's and internet explorer still doesnt. (IE7 dont count cause its beta)

Anyways my impression with the browser wasnt that bad. It is a bit slow and I ran out of memory once but those where my only real problems. The reason I ran out of memory was because I had 3 web pages open. The PSP allows a maximum of 3 pages open at one time and I guess that was more then the PSP has enough RAM for. Kinda funny if you ask me.

Anyways Im sure I will get use of this thing outside of my house.

People have been playing Doom and Heretic (and now Hexen) ever since they hacked 1.50

The SNES emulators still haven't taken advantage of the GPU so speeds aren't the best, but far from unplayable.

Can u play flash games on the psp. U know...go to ur favorite website with a collection of flash games and just pic 1 and play it?

i would be afraid to get a psp to cuse the screen looks like it would scatch easy
 
if you keep it in the softcase when you arent using it then it wont get scratched.

I;ve had my psp since the day it came out in the US and there arnt any noticable scratches on the screen. I love it.
