so i got my new rig the other day but i want to install some led fans i have (monarch built the rig for me) but i cant really remove the fan from the exaust position because it is REALLY in there i mean there are screws in the plastic (if you know what im saying). also, i try to install one as an intake but i cant beause i cant get the screws to go into the plastic. The fans are these http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/tlf-s12-eb-19.html

So you're saying that the screws in the fans that came with the computer were screwed in too tight for you to undo? Maybe try an electric screwdriver.

As for the screws not fitting for the new fan, if the thread isn't correct, you could always grab some new screws from the hardware store for cheap.

there is no thread on the fans, thats the problem lol (or atleast i cant see them)

Right, the screw screws into the plastic, creating it's own thread. I just thought that the screw you were trying was just too thick for the screwhole.

I use either 5mm self tapping screws and cut my own threads or plain M4 nuts & bolts.

Luck....... :D

well i was using the ones that came with it. I guess ill go to the hardware store and get a screwdriver (just moved and i dont have one :()
