Here's the problem. Every now and then, my computer will freeze or randomly reboot. At first I thought it was the power supply, but then, when i restarted the computer, the monitor wouldnt come out of stand by. In order to remedy this, I had to jiggle the monitor cable into the video card, then it worked. That led me to believe the video card was the problem. Just today I got a blue screen about "ati2dvag, memory dump, blah blah"

My video card is an Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB). I bought it about 8 months ago. If I do need to replace it, what would you suggest? ($200 budget, I dont do much gaming anymore)

The rest of the specs are in my sig

do you get any artifacts as well? how well is your case cooled? are you overclocking? have you tried the videocard on another computer?

try using memtest to see if your ram is working properly.

if memtest comes out with zero errors then i would honestly think its the powersupply that is faulty.

my vantec 520w psu had issues of artifacts and random freezes and reboots as well. after cleaning it and setting the fan on full speed i dont have those artifacts anymore however i do see the occasional lines running memtest and prime95. getting a replacement soon i hope.
