Well, we had a trade. My stuff for his PSP. Well, I shipped the stuff then he backed out of the trade. I said, ok, thats fine (even though I did try to convince him to keep the trade) but he insisted on sending the stuff back and I said ok. Well, its been a week and I still don't have any of the stuff. I am thinking he might have just kept everything. BrownThunder, please reply to this so we can get this sorted out.

Like I told MAXPower before, it was obvious from the getgo that this kid was trying to rip me off, so I backed out of the trade. He claims to have sent things, but I haven't recieved them.

I'm no con, I've been on these forums making deals for QUITE awhile.

I've got too many things to say about this kid and his demeanor, but I'd like to keep this professional.

Someone who was banned for ripping people off BEFORE (leptoon) dares call me a troll.
 
I too was weary of him, and I'm glad I did not do business.

I knew something was fishy when he wouldn't give me confirmed pictures of his PSP, nor did he have any feedback whatsoever to show.

Sorry to hear that someone got burnt by him.
 
Proof to his unprofessionalism, he decided to leave a neutral feedback on my heat, which I CANNOT get removed after e-mailing numerous people at heat, so now whenever someone views it, it stands out like a sore thumb, for a deal that never even took place. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed about that.
 
BrownThunder, it would be advantageous to your position to answer the questions from my previous post. There's a lot of Ad Hominem attacks going around; I'm still looking for information on what exactly has transpiried in this instance.

BrownThunder is the troll here, I did ship the items and I know for a fact BrownThunder recived them. BrownThunder is a stone cold liar and should be banned. BrownThunder, if you don't send me my items back, I am going to get the police involved and I really don't want to have to do that. Also, I know where you live (no threat intended) and my mom has no problem with driving to your house to pick up the items. If you don't ship the things back, this will just get messy and I don't want things to get out of hand.
 
There isn't any tracking info because nothing was sent on either side. He claims he sent, then practically pleaded to me to send at the same time. I had a feeling he hadn't really sent anything, so I told him that I wasn't able to continue with the trade. It wasn't that great of a deal to begin with, since A. I hate trading, B. I needed money more than anything for my PSP. I told him that if/when his products arrived, I'd send them back and reimburse his shipping plus a few bucks for the trouble.

I guess it can be said that I'm an ass for backing out, and I accept that.

The deal transpired over instant message conversations, so I don't have any PMs or anything to forward you. I wasn't sure if the original post was directed at me or mabybaby. Any questions you have, I'll be happy to answer.

I've got the feedback, ebay, heatware, and deals here to prove that I am no con artist, willing to risk my rep for ~$180 in goods. Anything I can do, let me know.

If items were shipped by yourself in good faith to BrownThunder as part of this deal, do you have any evidence that you did so? Unless you have tracking/DC, you wouldn't "know for sure he received them"

Why did you not show me that recipt when I asked you over and over and over again for ANY proof of shipment? Where does this mysteriously come from? I have NOT recieved any goods from you, or anything in the mail recently except a mirror for my car door.
 
so US postal service receipts differ from place to place?

because I have shipped through them from two different cities. same state though

at the time you supposedly sent I asked you for any kind of proof WHATSOEVER, and you said you had nothing. if YOU sent it, like you said, why was this "receipt" in your moms purse?

Vertigo - what would you like me to do in this situation? I haven't received anything from this guy, and I'm definitley not going to send him anything in return for nothing.
 
I didn't give you shipping confirmation is because I didn't know I had confirmation, lol. My mom had it in her purse and I didn't know about it. About your question, yes USPS receipts differ from place to place. I didn't post the entire thing because thats all my scanner scaned..

Mod, please tell me what I should do. I know I sent him the stuff, now what am I going to do to get it back?
 
Thats a horrible scan but it looks like the reciepts I get, it could have been delivered to the wrong house.

its possible he had just shipped it recently... that could be why he has the reciept all of a sudden... maybe he finally decided to ship knowing hes digging himself deeper and deeper in this pit of lies... hypethatecly speaking i know id do that if i was mabybaby's situation... but i could be wrong about all of this... if there is no tracking then who knows the truth for sure...

could hyave been another scam in the first place, then turned good (hence the shipping recently, as to never shipping at all)

1) She would have told you. It's on the reciept. You obviously have the reciept.

2) USPS reciepts have never differed for me, over 5 or 6 post offices.

3) Your scanner is NOT that small.
 
Rescan the recipt and provide a tracking number. Then one of you can call the post office and have them look up the transaction. If it hasnt arrived then report it lost. Your are insistant that he recieved the oitems but you have no proof. Could have been lost in the mail, it happens.
 
For the sake of my rep, I'll ask the neighbors to the left and right of me. if mail gets misdelivered, and it has NEVER EVER been a misdelivered package (I live in a small town, really hard to get things confused package wise), we'll go from there. Even still, I highly doubt it. My neighbors know me very well, and would bring a box to me if it were misdelivered. And in this day and age, most people would send a box back to the sender if they had no clue who it was from.

Right.

I will rescan it but we don't have a normal scanner its one of those fax/copier/scaner/printer things. I will tape the reciept to a piece of paper. I don't have a tracking number because my mom forgot to get one.
 
Dude, AFAIK, everything you need is printed on that receipt. They either give you the DC# on the receipt or on another sheet of paper...I always print my label online so the DC is free, and save a copy to PDF. And there is no way in hell your all-in-one machine has a platen-glass surface soooooo small that you can't scan a USPS receipt. Something's rotten in the state of Texas or something or the other, hehe.
 
He has the scanner that feeds the paper through the fax machine and no the glass. He also didn’t pay for del confirmation so there is no proof it delivered. If both parties are telling the truth then this package is lost. If the label fell of then he will get it in the mail in a few weeks. If it is just lost in the system it will turn up soon.

The bottom line here is there is no proof it was received so we can’t insinuate that it was. Just as we can’t insinuate he didn’t send the packed based on his past of bad trading. The fact of the matter there is no proof this transaction ever took place since it was done on IM and there is no way to prove it was shipped to his address. Good luck with the police with no evedence to support your claim.

Exactly. It hasn't even been two weeks since ship date. Although USPS Priority is supposed to be much, much faster, it would not suprise me in the least for this package to be delivered at a later date.

Mabybaby: You need to file a complaint with USPS.

BrownThunder: There is not much you can do at this point except wait and return the package if it does indeed arrive.

Let this be a lesson in utility of Delivery Confirmation, and also for the value of shipping one's own packages. If you can't afford to replace the contents of the package, can you really afford to not pay the extra $0.50 or so for DC? Especially in a cross-trade situation, proper tracking is a must.

To both parties: At this point, there's not much more the [H] moderators can help you with. Keep in communication, and best of luck to you in your USPS claim.

If you don't have any new information to add to this thread, please do not post in it.

Okies. Thanks everyone for helping us to get through this disaster. I am going to file a complaint with USPS tomorrow. Hopefully I will see that packedge before hell freezes over, lol. I scaned the whole reciept (which wasn't easy using this crappy scanner) and here it is:

Now, it is rather small but you can make out all the text. If/when I ever get the package back, I will tell everyone so we can finnaly close this case of USPS hell.

I just wanna know how a banned trader is allowed to keep a new S/N?? I thought that was against the rules regardless of their "new situation and practices"??

As far as I have read thru this entire thread... BrownThunder has more ground to stand on then mabybaby due to the fact that mabybaby has already been BANNED as a bad trader before. I am not saying who is right/wrong or siding with one person or another. I do totally agree about the DC (I use it all the time) and also agree that it is prolly lost in the mail or something of that fashion. Good luck on getting the package back and as far as Heatware goes, I think that the 2 of you should discuss that so it is not ruining the rep of an honest trader (I think that it should taken off personally).

Guys if you aren't involved with the deal, or if you just add useless opinions stay out of this thread.

Let the 2 parties and the mod take care of it.
 
I'd just like to add that there is NO reason not to use DC. It's free when you print out the label online. Then just tape that securely to the USPS box, and you're golden. (The PO people will cover that thing in literal gobs of tape to keep it on there, so no risk of it falling off). DC is present, hence, USPS can take care of the problem if/when the package is lost.
 
I am in a current sale with BrownThunder. I sent him money on saturday, and I received an email from USPS that he shipped my stuff out. So, hopefully, I'll get my items from him today or tomorrow, and can further attest to him being a good trader here on the [H] forums.
