hey guys.......I've got a Microsoft Intellimouse 4.0 and i love it to death, most comfortable mouse i've used. anyway, the left click button feels like it's going out. for example, when i go to double click something, it won't always register. I looked around the enclosure of the thing and couldn't find any screws. is it possible to open it up? are the screws under the surface pads?

I replaced the red led witha bright Blue 6000MCD and it has a blue laser with it glowing red in the back, just gently pri them off

Yes to both. I found the easiest way to remove the pads is too heat them up slightly with a hairdryer and use flat-faced tweezers (or a flat-head screwdriver) and pry gently while heating them up. At least that is what I did, or you could just use a razor blade to lift them up. Then I just glued them back down.
