Possible to roll back to V4 from V5 on XP machine?

is it at all possible to roll back to the V4 windows update from the V5 version?

Is V5 geared towards SP2?

First, I don't think so.

Second, why?

edit: I wouldn't say v5 is 'geared to' SP2, but it's starting to use similar key checking stuff.
