Possible to remove GPU block without draining loop?

Ok well im ready to throw my mcw60 and modded uni-sink onto my gtx260 but to do that I have to remove the mcw60 so I can install my 260 adapter plate and wnate dot know if any of you have any tricks for doing so wihtout draining your loop?

Or do I have to drain it?
 
I did it on my 8800GTX when it needed to be RMA'ed. i just took the 8800 out of the slot, unscrewed the block from the card, and when it was seperated, i slid the block over the PCI-E slot and into the back hole (for the monitor out ports). it sat there just fine for two weeks ^^

Edit: Although, my waterblock is a dangerden full cover block so it was about the same size as the card.. if your block are two separate pieces, put something that they can rest on so the tubes don't get stretched whilst there is no card.
 
I forgot to mention that I need to swap out the adapter plate which means I need to take my mcw60 off the tubing, hence my problem lol.

Zalman made some really good clamps but I have never been able to find them.

I have used them a few times to change out video cards or cpu waterblocks before. They work pretty good but they do leek a tiny bit so keep some paper towels around to stuff in the ends of the tubes while you get things situated.

I also was able to change out a CPU water block at a lan party by kinking the hose over with a zip tie while I changed the block. Had only a small leakage when I did that. But you do need to have enough hose in the case to reconnect while the zip tie is still on.
 
ya, I ended up just drainign the loop, I figured its been 3 months since my loop was changed so I might as well do it lol.
