well guys i want to watercool soon so i wanna see if what i have picked out is a good choice

DD TDX 1/2" CPU - a64
DD NV-68 1/2" GPU - 6800gt
DD Black Ice Xtreme II Dual 120
Swifty MCP 650 Pump
DD Maze4 Chipset cooler - abit av8
2x Panaflo M1A
about 15' of clearflex60 prem. tubing.

i know i need clamps and whatnot im new to wcing so any help with different connectors i will need or clams that your guys prefer id appreciate it

Everyone seems to ask this question. If you buy the setup all from one place with similarly grouped components, you wont have a problem.

I prefer the bearded clam! :D

Anyway I have personally never used any DD stuff, but I always seem to hear good about it so I wouldn't have any problems tossing my clams on that stuff. The tubing is the stuff I currently use and it seems to do the trick. Although the tubes kinda seem "jellY" and with the force of my hydor l30 the tubes kinda gigggle a lil ehheh

Ohhh didn't see the pump in there. I did however have a swifty mcp-300 and the thing leaked like a siv. Seemed to be good performing stuff though and it is the newer model.

well if anyone has any ideas for other brands? TE? i dunno but if this is a good set up i think i need some clamps, what do yall recomend? also ill need a fanbus for those fans

also im trying to figure out the flow ill be running? will be it belike daisy chained? i don have time to express my feelings but eh

what kinda splitters or some type of plug i fil the water with?

why get the black ice extreme 2 when u can jsut get the dual heatercore and save money and cool better

You can get a T line ( even home depot has it). Put T line in just before the pump. Have the T facing up and run a verticle tube up to the top of your comp. Add a DD fillport there to fill and bleed your system.

Decent steel wormdrive clamps seem like the easiest and best solution for clamping everything. Just check the clamps every so often. You can also use Zip ties. Preferably using a zip tie gun to get em nice and tight. PLUS the zip tie gun is great for fun with pets!

In regards to the pump the MCP 650 is an excellent pump and worlds better than the old 300.I have never , ever, heard about anyone having any problem with the 650. Ever.

Run the system in sequence(daisychain) Pump>radiator>CPU>CHipset>GPU>T>Pump. If you were to use a reservoir or fill&bleed kit instead of a T line they would still go in the same place in the sequence.

I'd go with that. I got a dual heatercore. Save money, same or better cooling. Check the For Sale/Trade thread for a guy named 2Fresh. He sells them. I bought one from him and couldn't be happier with my setup.

Good luck with your project and be sure to post pics of your progress.

well i did a advanced search and all he has is rads so i dont think i have much choice.

what kind of fill and bleed port do i need? im ordering mainly from frozen CPU and cooltechnia if any of you coudl direct my to a link.

right now i cant see the set up in my head cause im an idiot but i guess it starts at the 3 blocks using the out put so its like

OUT CPU
OUT GPU
OUT CHIPSET
INTAKE PUMP
OUTTAKE PUMP
TLINE > FILL PORT and INTAKE RAD
OUTTAKE RAD
INTAKE CPU
INTAKE GPU
INTAKE CHIPSET

its early i dont think i know what im talking about but i really am confused.... maybe i should think aobut it later? lol im going back to bed...

b/c the bix2 is a simple solution, where the heatercore takes more work to make it look good and secure it.

hmmm..... do you think ill need a chipset block? if not that would make things easier...

so heres whats on my list.

from Frozen CPU....
DangerDen TDX 1/2" Copper Water Block - Athlon64
Danger Den NV-68 (Nvidia 6800 series) 1/2" ID Water Block
Danger Den Black Ice Xtreme II Dual 120mm Radiator (Black) w/ Customizable Fittings
Swiftech MCP650™ 12v Water Pump
1/2" UV Reactive Leakproof T Fitting
Danger Den 1/2" Fillport - BLACK

from cooltechnia
15' of clearflex.

ill get the metal clamps from like....homedepot.

do you guys recomend runnings those panaflo's at fullspeed? i was hoping to get a rheobus and quiet them.... cause i cant stand a loud computer. any suggestions on like a 4 port rheobus?

how loud is the mcp650 anyways?

EDIT come to think of it, does it matter what kinda tubing i use? cause like, it kinds sucks i have to go to a sep place just for tubing, hows promoflex or just regular pvc? does it matter?

hey guys question...... i bought everything 1/2" now on the BIX when i ordered it, it was 1/2 ID and 5/8 OD is that right? now what kind of tubing do i need?
