Lately I've been seeing some weird things going on with my comp. Every now and then, my vidcards crash while under load where I get nothing but a black screen and 100% on my fans. I've also noticed while under load, the lighting on my USB devices starts to fade.. such as my Logitech G15 keyboard and my G13 gamepad. Could it be my PSU isn't handling the load?

I7-920 with Gigabyte X58A-UD7, crossfired HD5850 toxic, 3 hard drives, 1 SSD, 1 BluRay optical, XFI sound card, 4 140MM LED fans, 3 non LED 140MM fans. 750 Watt Thermaltake Toughpower that ive had for 3-4 years.

Are you overclocked on anything? Return to stock clocks and see what happens. Do you have a spare power supply to test things out?

Return it to stock settings and see if you have any stability issues. I doubt it's the PSU though.

It did do the same thing when I had it OC'd to 3.2 with default on the vidcards..

Swap it out with a different PSU, a known good one if possible. If your problems still persist, then the problem lays elsewhere.

I just dont know what else it could be.. I think I'll invest in a really nice one since I only replace these every 4-5 years. 3-5 years. Thanks.

Bad graphics card, bad motherboard, bad cpu, bad RAM can all cause any number of problems.
