Sometimes I see some "interference" on my monitor (NEC FP2141SB). It seems like fuzzy, faint lines rapidly vibrating. It's not massive image corruption, but it's noticable, and it comes and goes. Could this be caused by a interference in the cable, or is it a sign of imminent monitor destruction?

Hmmmm, I'm at 1600x1200, 100 Hz. I've only noticed it since I have moved into a new house, and I suspect that may have something to do with it. The wiring here is fairly old (I had to use an adapter just to make the socket accept 3-pronged plugs, haha), and I wonder if it's just "dirty" power that's doing it.
