Possible PC-V1000 airflow problem?

So I just got my PC-V1000 the other day along with my new Neopower PSU. Things were going great until I realized something... because the PSU only has one fan that will be pointing DOWN into the bottom of the case.. isn't this a problem?

Lian Li's spec sheet shows airflow like this but now that's not going to happen. Do you think this'll be a problem?

Also: I didn't get a response in the PSU forum so I may as well ask again.. the PSU comes with a connector that the manual says regulates the fan speed... do you think this is a good idea? Am I going to experience a rise in temperature from that type of thing?
