I was oc'ing my processor today, (AMD Athalon 2500+) to see how far I could push it till it wasnt stable enough to run. And I hit that point at 205x11 so I reset my cmos and now my system wont turn on at all... I press the on button and everything starts up and then it just shuts down after about 2 seconds, barely enough time for all my fans to get up to operating speed. So Im wondering did I maybe fry my processor on the last overclock. Or could it have something to do with my mobo?
I was gonna post this is the amd processor forums but thought that here was more appropiate since my problem arrised when I was oc'ing.
my sytem specs are below, but Ill repeat the essentials:
NF7-S Ver 2.0, AMD Athalon 2500+, 1 GB (2x 512 MB) matched memory pair DDR400(Corsair Platinum series), WD 250 GB SATA HD, ATI Ultimate Sapphire 9600XT, and Running off a new 480 Watt PSU.
