Possible dodgy PSU

Hi fellas,
I am currently having a few problems with my PC. Firstly it doesnt POST every time i hit the power button or restart. Usually i have to power down completely and start again and i have tried power from 2 outlets and it happens on both. I am thinking i have a dodgy PSU, what do you think?? My current PSU is an Antec 480Watta True Power and its about 3 years old. Any ideas?

not alot of info to go on

what are you trying to power?
what is the voltage stability like when you do managed to boot?
do you have friends you could crosspart with?
are you using a POST card or onboard POST indicator?
