Which do people prefer? Also, for those that are doing Portrait mode, what monitors do you suggest?
 
Running 3 Dell 2007 FP's in portrait for 3600x1600. They're a good, low cost option for portrait eyefinity gaming if you pick them up used/refurbed.
 
I run the same setup on my workstation pc now, 3x 2007FP in Portrait. I run them in NV Surround though, off an Nvidia 650e (3770/16gb/Raided SSD's) This is more of an Ubuntu / Windows Dual Boot workstation, but I have been doing some light gaming on it in Surround and I prefer portrait setups over landscape.
