Ok, so I was given a Toshiba 32 inch 720p TV for graduation. I have a HTPC, here are the stats:

Asus P5E-VM HMDI
2 Gigs Cosair RAM
Intel P4 3.2 GHz
Seagate 320 Gb drive
Some old dvd drive

I am running Vista Media Center. So here is my issue, I am running the video and sound out through the HDMI to the TV. The picture is good but the sound has issues, normally it is good but about every minute or two there is a cracking or popping noise coming form the speakers. It is rather annoying. I have tried turning down the sound on the PC and turning up the TV speakers and vice versa but it is still there. I have reinstalled sound drivers. Has anyone experinced this problem with this board? Is there a fix? Could it be the HDMI cable? I got a 6 foot cable for 20 bucks, the cheaper one at Fry's should I have got the better one? I have tried both HDMI ports on the TV and it still happens. Any and all help is appreciated.
