Poor screen uniformity, RMA?

So I have the BenQ XL2420G, and it seems I have a case of poor screen uniformity, specifically during a black background.

During black wallpaper:

Complete black levels:

So, how bad is it, and should I send it for repair/rma to try and get a better one?
EDIT: Screenshots make it look worse then it actually is though, and keep in mind I do not notice anything during games or films or any daily usage. Not sure how BenQ support is, but I'm worried if I send it, they either don't do shit about it, or perhaps send me a worse panel.

1. Don't use your monitor in a pitch black room
2. Problem solved
:D

All cheap monitors with backlight will look like this in a dark room with varying degree of backlight bleeding.

Not to mention that surround light will increase the contrast tremendously and it's also much healthier for your eyes, than starring at a shining led backlight in a dark.

Even my va tv's blacks look plain gray with bleeding in dark room, so using it like this is kind of missing the point of high contrasty VA panel.

You can also buy something like this and place it behind your monitor if you don't have any lighting in your room:

But the first screenshot doesn't even look that bad to me given that it's overexposed by the camera.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. Didn't think of it that way, you're totally right. I do always sit in dark room, guess I was so used to it.
The antec lightning product info says 51 inch though, and my monitor is 24 inch. But seems such a thing could definitely come in handy when behind my desk at night.

I actually contacted BenQ and sent the same pictures to their tech support. Unfortunately allready sent the monitor, but I guess it can't do no harm, perhaps they can improve it slightly.. hopefully!
