I've got a Thinkpad with a 120gb OCZ Vertex3 SSD. I installed it not long after that SSD came out and recently I noticed the laptop slowing down. I assumed it was the OS so I reinstalled and am still seeing slow performance. I ran a benchmark to compare to what it was new which showed a very low 4k-64Thrd score.

I see threads explaining how to prevent this but how to I fix it? Or is the drive beyond repair?
