Well i got my dive install and i ran pcmark 2002 and i only get 800 HD points. Do that seem low to anyone?? I looked into pcmarks info and it says my HD interface type is IDE. Is that correct with a sata drive?? Anyways i'm running on an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe board. Anyone with any ideas?? thanks

The Raptor series are natively ATA/IDE but have an onboard Serial ATA bridge circuit. Maybe that's why the Raptor was detected as IDE.

That said, I just want to say that PCMark has no credibility as a hard drive performance benchmark. Any results you receive from it are suspect. As recommended, try HD Tach for a cheap yet reasonably accurate benchmark alternative.

Hey, ran the bench mark, numbers seemed a bit low, so i click on compare drive and according to that my raptor is running the numbers it should be running, so that makes me happy i guess. thanks for the help ppl :)

Not sure about that Asus board but if your drives are attached an Intel ICH5 they show up as IDE. If you are using a SI controller they will be listed as RAID. As far as the drives being bridged PATA drives, that has nothing to do with it. My native Seagate shows up on IDE channel 3 on my rig.
