Poor performance after windows install?

After I gave up on trying to fix my computer I reinstalled windows. my performance has taken a big hit. The loading scrren goes through 4-5 instead of the 1-1.5 it used to. I'm getting extremely low framerate in ut2k4, around 50-60, used to 70+. I'm using the 42.01 drivers. This is all so frustrating.
 
It started crashing again! I removed only the wireless card and stopped crashing. I'm taking it back and buying a linksys.
