Well I have my watercooling setup finally installed and really not happy with how far this chip will go.


The fastest I can get the BCLK is 185. It will boot at 190 but BSOD. Sometimes 200 will boot if turbo is disabled but it unreliable.

Multiplier on CPU - i7 920 is hitting 21.

My bclk is holding me back.

PCI Xpress is locked at 100
Standard 1.5 voltage.

Ram is well within spec its 1600 mhz but operating slower because my bclk is 185 and not 200. bclk of 200 has the ram at 1600. 1.5-1.6V.

All Voltages are on Auto...

I tried Q VTT at 1.51 with no difference in bclk. Vcore I tried at 1.4 fine...
voltage in cpu-z is 1.376...


Any ideas?


Temps CPU have spiked up to 70 during IBT for a split second then back down to 60. Mostly hovering around 60-64C...


How do I get my bclk higher?



I forgot to list my cpu - i7 920.
