I have a HTPC with two hard drives full of media. Is there a way in Windows 10 to pool both as one, without losing existing data?

You could always look at Stablebit's Drivepool software. Very easy to setup, non-destructive and you can turn off the duplication (redundancy) if you don't want that.

Agreed, Stablebit Drivepool will do it. Just create a pool with the drives and then move the files from each drive into the newly created folders on the individual drives that the software creates.

If you want to view it as a single drive, remove the drive letters for the two drives and mount the drives to empty folders instead. Then only the pooled volume will show.

Windows built in Storage Spaces works great for pooling drives. You can keep adding drives as you want (and replace smaller ones), but you do need to do the initial creation.

You can always buy a large USB drive, copy over, and then return the drive once done.
