You know for a fact that someone at the Newark Police Department fell for the age old "install this codec pack to watch free porn" trick. The good news is that no mission critical systems were affected by the virus.

"Through the efforts of the city's and the division's IT, as well as assistance from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, New Jersey State Police and federal authorities, we were quickly able to get the system cleaned and operational in four days," said a police spokesperson. According to one report, the virus temporarily locked down the servers, blocking access to the program used to track and analyze crime data.

people are idiots if they think they need some special program to find free naked people... I know of dozen places where you don't even have to sign up to look at neked people... I'm sure if they are installing stuff it is hide they are doing it at work... if they need r&r time that much they should take a rotate an odd number of cops through an office to sit and watch movies when they come up for trademarked or copy righted material when they come out... then send them back to work after two weeks and they will be more alert and refreshed and not so hard up to look at porn at work...
