OK....pretty new at this, but my PPD count seems to be usually around 200 or so. Not very much compared to a lot of the others. Hell, tons of peeps are around 600+ a day, not counting those that are multi-thousands per day.

With my basic, cheesy, stock PC (in sig), am I generating the numbers that are to be expected? The rig is left on 24/7 and the CPU usage is set at 100% in the client....I don't know if there's something else that I'm supposed to set....

Feel free to let me know if I'm OK or all screwed up.... Thanks tons.

Do you have all 4 cores folding, my AMD X2 at 2.4ghz did about 600ppd with both cores folding (before I put up my 4x9600GSO rig). How long has the cpu been folding, the reason I ask is that my PPD says like 1200 or something when in the last 2 days i have gained almost 20000 points...

PS...Im on you threat list LOL


 
sounds like hes using the system tray client... so its only using 1 core rivethead.. you have 2 choices.. either run 4 system tray clients or run 2 smp clients..

See the [H] Guides set up by Xilikon, they helped me a bunch when I started, and they continue helping when getting into multiGPU and stuff...

you want to get the smp client.. its in the beta client section of the downloads..
 
Awesome...that seemed to have worked OK. Just installed the SMP client per the directions and now all four cores are at 100%....I'll keep an eye on everything until tomorrow and see how it works

Acutally, are you selling some? I would be interested as I am planning on buying some GPUs on Tuesday when I get paid. PM me if you are serious. 9600GSO's would be fine for me.
