I'm looking for an affordable active POE+ draw tester.I know some devices just monitor the current and some can simulate a load. I could do either or both.

What are some of my options? I could buy some random stuff off Amazon but I would prefer something that is known to work well. Looking to stay under a couple hundred bucks. Thanks.

OP said under $200. I was going to recommend the fluke tester but that's way more lol

Personally i use the Fluke Linksprinter 300 for most work, it's handy and covers most work, but does not provide any load for the POE part

other than that https://www.pockethernet.com/ should be an pretty good tester.

for an tester with an static load try looking at the Hobbes PoEz (https://www.hobbes-group.com/product_content.php?id=zRjIEJFpFKlClLmMHsoNnNSOSuyPTP)

https://www.amazon.com/Hobbes-256318K-PoEz-Kit-Simulator/dp/B07N4M3Q16

pretty cheap and could be the solution that you are looking for.
