there, i have an x800xt pe, the latest drivers (omega 2.5.90 based on the ATI 8.07 Beta drivers for doom3), and i found pocadots in various textures.

i dont know if many people have had this type of issue, so i'm posting it for comments...

the settings where:

texture and mipmap detail : performance
fsaa + aniso = application

in doom3

1600x1200 ultra quality

the originale screenshot was in .tga , then converted to jpeg, and edited with paint. the pocadots are much more noticeable in the actuall game, especially on the green post.

The line of white dots, right above the thumb?

There's any number of possible causes.

First, are you running any shader replacement mods?

Second, how's your card's temperature? Overclocked (esp. RAM)?

If those aren't the issue, try it with non-beta drivers.

non overclocked.
no shader replacement ( not manual but i am running the ATI AI which isnt suppost to affect IQ)

card temp, 40 C full load (watercooled)

and i'll try the non-beta drivers as soon as cat 4.1 becomes finall :p

and the line of white dots on the black line... thats what called my attention. i tried looking at it at different angles, but the dots remain. they go away at certain angles when i scale the resolution down tho...

OK now they go away when i set the IQ to high quality in the control panel, but in just quality they're still there :/
