ok, I'm just venting here because I am really upset about whats been going on. I sent in a PNY 6800gt for warranty replacement all the way back in december. they said they received it on 28 dec 2004. its been over 2 months and they still havent sent me a card back. I called customer service up today and they told me that "they dont have any replacement cards to send out" which is bullshit because I see their damn card for sale every week at compusa. they even have links on their website to where you can buy their cards.

I've been really patient about this, but I've waited over 2 months and this is ridiculous. I've called them about 3 times now and each time every time I try to speak to a supervisor, he's either not around or I have to leave a message. and they never call back or reply to my email.

these people keep dicking me around..is there anything I can do about it???

Keep calling. Talk to the general manager at the local CompUSA or Best Buy. He/she may have a better contact number..something like a regional sales manager that might be able to get something accomplished for you.

Yes, definitely do NOT give up, whatsoever, keep trying, and it will pay off. PNY customer service isn't that great, IMO anyway, I was having video card troubles, and they were not helpful at all. I ended up calling my mobo manufacturer out of pure anger and just wanting to get something done, they were able to remedy the situation over PNY...pretty odd if you ask me, but keep trying, don't give up!

well now I call their customer support and no one even picks up... I'm NEVER buying PNY again. my first and last purchase with them ever!!!!!

I had a PNY GeForce 3 a long time ago. It was an OK card. Nothing special and no bundle to speak of whatsoever. I have, however, heard that their quality has been severely reduced in the past year or so. I am pretty sure my next purchase will be a BFG card, though I haven't completely decided yet.

say you are pretty friendly with the staff over at The Inquirer, and threaten to publish their bad customer service if nothing gets done :)

I bet they wont funk give a damn....and WTF is PNY anyway??

Man, PNY has to burn. Their crappy cards and memory. Hopefully they answer your phone calls. I would never deal with them again. I never had bad experience but people all around me did. So I would never buy PNY.

it took me nearly 2month to get my ti4200 replaced. they've hidden their cs dept telephone number on their policy and not putting them up on the front page of support section. and if and when you do call in it's normally about 30min+ wait and the reps are just horrible. never buying pny ever again.

I like my PNY 6600GT. :p
me too, knock on wood ;) . I know there memory sucks in general since WAY back, but i have never been witness to TOO many problems with their verto series. They are still a lower tier company for sure though, and that sucks about the support from them.

Their card apear in alot of stores, from staples to compusa...

I had 2 of their cards one a PCI TNT2 32MB and the other I dont remember but it was a peice of crap and their service didnt help one bit...

The TNT2 runs good though, makes a great server card.

PNY makes all sorts of low quality shit, from DDR to broken 6800's.
And they make the Quadro line, which is EXTREMELY high quality and VERY reliable. And their Quadro RMA process is a dream. Advanced replacement, anyone?
