Just Saw a PNY GTX260 @ the egg for $249.99 (down to $229.99 After MIR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133229). i almost jumped the gun, but ive never owned a PNY card and i don't know anyone close to me that has. What do the guys that have bought from PNY have to say? Also, would it be stupid to pay $230 for a card that is going to get replaced in a couple of weeks (months?) ive read that the new "GTX260+" would be slightly faster, but also a but more expensive ($50 more according to FUD), considering that the card normally sales for about $280-300 i think that the $230 deal looks nice.

But i feel better talking about it here so i can have some comfort when (if) i blow 230 bucks :D

BTW right now i have a 19' 1440x900 monitor, i am going to get a 24' within the next 2 months. So ill be wanting to play at 1920x1200 (maybe drop down to 1680 x 1050 if the game is to demanding), should i get a new monitor, now and get a new vid card then? or get a new vid card now, and get the new monitor later?

Thanks for the your input:)

First of all, all the cards are made in the same factory. I don't think the eVGA sticker will give you a better card than the PNY sticker. Some partners do perform their own testing/binning though, and the biggest difference is probably the warranties offered.

I never had a problem with my PNY GTS 320MB, it was a great card.
