A friend of mine gave me this PNY 8800 Ultra 768MB which he was not using for quite some time along with a tagan tg500 PSU...
The card was working fine on my M2N-CM-DVI motherboard which got spoilt one day and was out of warranty so I had to get a new board...
There were some budget problems so I got myself an M2N68-AM plus mobo on which the card worked fine for quite some time

After about 1 and a half month I experienced a weird problem...the lan card was not able to receive packets...the PCI interface had stopped working...and the graphic card used to not power up sometimes when i restart the comp.......So I had to kinda remove it and fix it again and it used to start up randomly and one day the card totally stopped working on the board.....

I RMA'ed the board and got a new board on which the card was not working...

I took it to my friends place to check...he has a p5gz-mx on which the card works everytime I try it...

I've tried a lot of things on my board (M2N68-AM plus) like BIOS updates and stuff to probably make the card word but still failed...

I tried the card on the following boards and it didn't work
M2N68-AM plus
M2N-MX SE plus
P5KPL-AM

It still works on my friends P5GZ-MX and I have tried it 4 times till now on his board...

Plz help me find a solution to work out this card on my board :-(

If the card is working intermittently in other boards, I would just RMA it and see what the new card does...

yea sadly I can't do that.....the serial number label on the card was damaged since the time I got it from my friend...

I tried for an RMA but it got refused :-(

any other way to get it to work...you can ask me detail specs of my comp...I've tried too many things though but I wasn't able to find a proper solution to make it work...
