I currently have a 9700PRO, 1 gig of ram, and a 2500+ @ 3200+ speeds. Ever since I got my 2005fpw I have found my setup to be lacking in newer games (CS:S, D3). I'm leaning towards a 6800GT since I have always loved ID games and I think we'll see alot of D3 based games in the future.

Anyway I found a PNY 6800GT at GameVe for $327.

From what I understand they aren't the best overclockers....however this would still give me a huge boost at 1680x1050 over my 9700PRO right? Should I be looking at another brand of 6800GT? Also should I get an aftermark vga cooler? If so which ones do you all reccomend?

I have that card it is awesome.

I always have it at 410/1100 (stock at 350/1000) unless I run 3DMark05 then I bump it up to 430/1140.
I own the highest 3DMark05 score (5,758) for any system with a 3.0 gig processor and a 6800 GT.
All of this is running on the card with only stock cooling and 5 case fans in my case.
