I bought a PNY 6800NU from fry's for $264, as they were out of BFG's.

It was returned, because "It had no 'y cable'"

Everything seemed fine, although the previous owner/fry's people really suck at packing the thing.

I got 16 pipelines open, and all the vertex w/e opened. Although it only OC'd to 350/750

Is this good or bad? I'm very happy with it, and wouldn't be bothered if this were a "bad" oc, as I don't think I'd notice a performance diff. anyway.

I was wondering If I should get a Zalman HSF for it, as it'd match my CNPS7000. Any review on it out yet?
 
technically speaking, Any OC is good.
350/750 with everything unloked should give you a nice jump (you wont notice it unless you benchmark)

My theory on extra colling is this. Do it if you want more performace but then, you would spend more money and get a better card :) (like a gt)
the reason you probably got a NU is cause you didn't want to dish out more money, so why dish it out now? the zelman won't give you much a performace jump (and i find that PNY heatsink is fairly good on its own)
 
imo unlockin the pipes and the shader with some OC is better then not being able to unlock the pipes or shader and having good oc. so u win! :)
 
I mostly want the zalman to match my HSF, plus it looks pretty sexy.

It's also pretty quiet, so I thought it'd be nice.
