Hey guys,

I was just wondering if the max PM's allowed was lowered recently? I'm not complaining, just curious as to why all of a sudden I'm 100% full. (Not anymore, as I just emptied)

Thanks

Im pretty sure there has always been a 200 message limit... At least as long as I've been here.

Not unless you just completed a subscription to GenMay, they have a limit of 300 vs 200 for all other members. Nothing else on this end has changed.

Weird. I had 174 messages, I had to go down to 3 and it says my limit is 15.

Ninja edit: now it says I can have 300 - before it said 15.. strange

The Donut, I had almost forgotten about this, but Falls Included is correct. When you change your email address, until you confirm it by replying to an email the vBull system sends to the new addy, you are placed back into the "Awaiting Email Confirmation" group, which temporarily removes your posting privileges and gives you a 15 PM limit (mainly so new registrants can contact an admin if there are any problems with the process).

To the best of my knowledge, had you not deleted your PMs, they would have been there once you confirmed the new addy and your limit was restored.

If you ever want to clear your PM box but keep a record, there is an option to "Download all Private Messages as: XML | CSV | Text". Haven't tried XML or CSV, but Text works fine and gives you a searchable text file.
