• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

here goes ....

1) if my pm box gets full what will happen ? will it delete the last pm or say full to who ever trys to pm me ?

2)i try to delete older pm's but it seems i deleted everything ? if i check the box of the ones i want to delete then hit delete they all delete ? can i simply delete about 30 with out delete one at a time ? thanks

just check the box of the ones you want to delete, select delete and click go!
don't forget your sent item box ;)

If your PM box gets full, you will not be able to receive any more PMs and the sender will get a message that your box is full. Regular members get 200 PMs, subscribers get 300. BTW, admins can still send to a full PM box. ;)

Toward the right of your PM list there are selection boxes. If you check the top one, it will select all PMs on that page. Then you'll see categories like Today, Yesterday, Wednesday, Last Week, 2 Weeks Ago, etc. You can select all the PMs in those categories or you can select PMs individually to delete just some of them.

If you want to preserve your PMs, at the bottom right it says:

Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text

I haven't tried the first two, but Text works just fine and gives you a file you can open in Notepad and search.

One thing you can do to keep the number down a bit is when you are corresponding with someone, use the "reply" feature, as it will quote the original PM. Then delete their original PM and it's still preserved in your reply in your Sent box.
