Ok i'm going to get a hard drive for my xbox but my mom (yes my mom) does not want to buy from NEWEGG. in tell i can show her that its safe and thay won't rep her off. so please post what you think of them.
and only say that its a good site if you have got some thing from them please.
 
Moms are always concerned about mail ordering stuff, cause they're looking out for their kids :) So in that regard you should be happy.... but anyway...

I've never had problems with Newegg. I've been using them for 4 years to order computer parts and such. They package the items well enough and they use Fed Ex Saver shipping, which means you'll get it fast.

The only time I ever got a defective product (damaged bezel on a DVD-ROM drive) they sent a replacement fast and without hassle.

Since a hard drive is cheap to mail, even if you had to send it back for replacement the cost would be minimal, and you'll save a lot of money instead of buying retail and paying tax.

I just orded a laptop from them, it is sitting in the case behind me, it was sent in a box inside of a box surrounded by styrafoam, inside of a box filled with popcorn packing stuff. I could have threw it out my window driving and it would have worked. And it got here 2 days earlier than FedEx said it would. They rock and I tell everyone to order from there.

And FYI there are reviews on their site, you can see tons of people pleased there. Then again I suppose those could be forged, but if that were the case there would be a lot of hate for them, and there is not.
