Tell me about your PLEX VM setups, also, any tips tricks or things I should add?

Currently my VM is:

4x CPU
4GB ram
OS like 60gb on SSD datastore
Media storage is being set as a 3tb VHD on a 7.2tb setup (4x 2tb 6gb/sec i think raid 0)

OS is Windows 2008 R2 Standard

I should add that this is a Vmware ESX 6.0 box running on a Dell Poweredge R710 II w/ 2x 6core cpus, 56gb of ram, and an Perc H700 raid controller

Mine is running in a jail on my freenas box. Has access to 8 cores/16 threads and 64GB of DDR4. 32GB of HDD storage in a raidz2 for an effective 19TB of storage, 10gige networking

I previously had it in a windows VM in ESX on one of my E5-2670 hypervisors. I fed it 8 cores and 16GB of DRAM, passed through an LSI raid card with 5x4TB drives in it.

Got it. Mine used to run in a Server 2016 VM with 12 cores and 16GB ram. It was mainly there because of gpu passthrough. OS was on 60GB of SSD cache in system in sig.
