Hi friends,

I want to buy a smartphone. But I am not sure which one is best for me: iPhone 5 or Samsung!

Does anyone suggest me with model and price....please.

Thanks in advance!

Galaxy S4.

Do it.

Those 8 Cores that switch 4 in and out for optimal power rustles my jimmies.

The iPhone 5 is falling behind with a dual core.

The BIG.little is international version only.

Up to you OP, if you like ios go with apple, but for now its the s4 or htc one for android.

Of the new phones, I'd say in this order:
  1. Galaxy S4 - If you don't mind TouchWiz + Android 4.2
  2. HTC One - If you don't mind Sense + Android 4.1
  3. iPhone 5 - If you are privy to the iOS ecosystem and app store
Actually, the HTC One and S4 should be relatively equal footing given they're using the same SoC (for US markets) but have different features-- HTC One lacks expandable memory, Samsung S4 does; one uses DDR2 (HTC One) and the other is LPDDR3 (S4); and so on.

Thank you my friends for your suggestion!

Do you know about a comparatively cheap and long-lasting set from these three iPhone model and please reply with price also!

Oh, take note: The Samsung S4 use a different processor outside US markets-- Exynos 5 BIG.little SoC.

It's an eight core processor.

Not sure why they did it that way...

So, while the US has Snapdragon 600, the international version is the Exynos 5 BIG.little octa-core processor. The Exynos 5 should be a bit faster and/or more efficient than the Snapdragon, so that's another option to consider if you live outside the US.

Lumia 920 - the best one form Samsung and iPhone :)

How has been Windows Phone 8 been treating you? I imagine app selection has improved, or is it still an issue? I ask because the Nokia Lumia 620 seems like a nice budget option for the platform and Engadget gave it good marks.

Because exynos doesn't play well with all the us carriers. The snapdragon 600 is a s4 pro with massive integration with impeccable efficiency.

If you get driven to consider something outside of Apple and Samsung the HTC DNA is pretty slick. My wife has one and a guy in the office. They are both pretty happy with performance versus battery usage. Games will suck the battery pretty quick but they look and perform great. It is a little too wide for my choosing but a nice phone non the less.
