Please suggest me a good PSU

Hello,

Can someone suggest me a good PSU that is quiet and doesn't have the annoying high pitch squeek every now and then like the one I have with the Corsair? I need a 2nd PSU while deciding what to do with the Corsair, so I don't want to have to pay too much for it.

This PSU is going to fit inside a Lian Li V1000 Case

Budget should be under $100 but willing to pay more if it's good

Should be Quiet, prefer 120m Fan instead of the 80m

Prefer one that doesn't make high pitch beep every now and then

Modular is a plus, but isn't necessary

You could just go to a store like Best Buy and buy a PSU and then return it when the RMAed one gets back (I read your other thread about your current PSU).

Not sure about Best Buy policy, but they have 30 days return right? Worth a try to pin point if it's the Corsair PSU or not.

Sad that your corsair is making a high pitch sound.

Yes, find the cause of your problem first. For example, try to run the PSU only. I think you can connect 2 pins together and they will work.

You can get a coolermaster 650w psu for $25 AR @ svc.com. Actual output is something more like 550w, but it's a decent psu, and at a low (AR) cost. This would work fine.
