Current system specs:

Core 2 Duo e6700 engineering sample - OEM heatsink
Gigabyte G33-S2H MicroATX board
2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR667
eVGA 8800GT SSC
WD Raptor 74GB
500GB Sata drive
Antec 500w PS
Silverstone SSG-01
3x80mm fans

I am wanting to go watercooled just for fun. My plans are to upgrade to a Q6600 G0, Corsair 1066 dominator memory, and a modular ATX psu.

I want to watercool both my processor and my video card at the moment. Eventually maybe i'd do the NB/SB.

I have picked out:

Swiftech MCP665 (with regulator)
Thermochill PA120.3
MCW60-R + vreg and ramsinks
D-Tek Fuzion cpu block
XSPC Bay Reservoir 5.25"
Adapters for misc hose sizes, running 3/8" hose since it's a SFF case

I need suggestions for fans for the radiator. Good CFM + low db, radiator will be external to the case.

Am I heading in the right direction for a quad-core with video card cooling?
Any recommendations for PSUs?

You are going to have a hard time getting barbs on the waterblock with that case unless you don't have the power supply installed. I had to use 90's right off the block. Your best bet is a good external solution.

I mainly chose the D-Tek because of its reviews on quad core processors. I wonder if that 1u water block you posted will cool as well as either of the Fuzion or Apogee GTX... I am betting not =(.

The radiator will be mounted externally, so as far as the core size fitting in the case, that's not much of a concern. I chose it because i'll be running a core 2 quad and a video card from 1 radiator.

ah yeah should do my homework.. forget the 1U cpu block cuz its not even rated for c2d so c2q would be death..
