I am planning to buy a computer next year and I have a friend in the US which comes in November (i'm from Europe) that can buy me a power supply from newegg.com
I have now an Antec Truepower 1.0 430w with 26Amps on +12V,a single rail.
My next computer will have a config like this:
Cpu : Intel Conroe 2 Duo E6600 - E6700 or X6800 if it gets cheaper
Video Card:DX10 Video card - to be announced
Memory:2 GB of Ram DDR2
Mobo:TBA
One hdd,one optical drive.

What power supply do you recommend me?I want a power supply with a Long Lifetime.
I know Antecs are almost the best power sources, but I also know that they are rebranded Seasonics.
How are these new Corsairs? How good are the OCZ-s?

Actually, except for a few exceptions (NeoHE, Trio) they are made by Channelwell.

The new corsairs are very good.
The HX520 and HX620 are some of the better supplies money can buy. I'd put them ahead of the Antec's, because these are all Seasonic built, with the flex-force modular cables. Very useful.

The ocz's are also good.
The GameXstream is a great value, it can actually do the rated 600 / 700w, it's quite cheap, and it's good quality.

All of those are good choices.

Not forgetting the Thermaltake Tough Power 750W psu.........that is a good unit.

I want to ask too if the Corsairs have a 110V/220V power switch, cause i need it in Europe, and i buy it from the US

I figured out it switches auto from 110V to 220V.
Another question:
Why is such a big difference in price between the 520 and the 620 one?I see they have both 18Amps on the 12V rails

You're correct, the PSU auto-switches and works internationally. The part numbers exist for a UK model, a EU model, and a US model. The only difference is which power cable is included, they auto-switch the input.

As for the difference between teh 520 & 620, they both have 18A max on each rail, but the combined output of the +12V rails is different. On the 520 it's 40A total or 480W, and on the 620 it's 50A or 600W.
