I'm looking for a laptop thats not too heavy, has 6+ hour battery life (the more the better), and is in the 700-900ish price range.

Ill be using it mainly for programming, movies, and a little gaming here and there.

The two most intresting machines out there IMHO on the high end of your range and perhaps a bit beyond based on the options:
