Please recommend a case.

I am building my first PC: 7800GTX, 2 gigs ram, athlon 3800+

I have NO IDEA what kind of case to get...all I know is that I want something with A LOT of fans on it.

Here is a list of a couple cases that I like, please give me advice on any of them.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811146007 $125 pc case 400 watt 3 fan

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811146017 $179 pc case 500 watt 4 fan no side airduct

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129158 $140 pc case 500 watt 1 fan side airduct

Also, do I need a 400, 450 or 500 watt PSU for my system?

third link no workie

second link looks pretty neat,
but nowadays I only buy/recommend lian-li cases because they're so damn sexy and functional

make sure you buy your own (good) power supply and probably at least 450w

A lot of fans doesn't make a good case. It makes a noisy case, but not a good one. Well positioned fans, on the other hand, and a case designed for good airflow, is what you're looking for. And personally, those cases you linked to are absolutely hideous.

I like Newegg but I almost never buy cases there.

Or catch a sale at ComUSA lately.

I gave this one a long look eventhough I don't need a case.

Add in an $89 Antec TP2 550W PSU from Newegg with free shipping and you're set. Add about $15 and get the 2.0 SLI PSU if you plan on a second Video Card.

Donnie, you have some good advice there.

The SilverStone TJ-06 Wind Tunnel With Window CASE is the most beautiful case I have ever seen, and also the most functional. Thanks for the link, I finally found the perfect case.

Now, for the PSU...you recommend the Antec TP2 550W PSU + upgrading it for 2.0 SLI for $15.

Question, I plan on getting the Athlon 64 4000 and the 7800GTX, how long will that combo last me?

Also, I really like this SLI idea they have come up with...this way when the 7800GTX starts lagging, I can just purchase another one (by then that card should be really cheap).

I guess what I am asking is in a year or two or three even, when the 7800GTX starts fo fall behind in regards to fps, how MUCH of a difference would running two of those babies in SLI be?

Choosing the right components for a gaming PC is very frustrating and stressful, just when I feel like I picked the right component I see something better or I look harder at what it is that I am about to buy.

Can anyone recommened a CASE that comes with NO PSU and has GREAT airflow, with a few 120mm fans?

OK, I think I finally found THE ONE.

Thermaltake XASER http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133154 is $120 over at the egg. I think I am going with this one unless someone mentions a better case...
