I recently ordered a new 13" MacBook Air (i5/8GB/256GB SSD) for work purposes and portability, instead of a tablet pc. I'm looking at building a decent spec gaming pc.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming and web browsing.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$800 to $900.

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
USA. Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
CPU - Intel i5 (Haswell) or i7 (Haswell)
RAM- 16 GB
Power Supply - At least 750 watt modular.
Motherboard - Must have a good built-in audio dac. Had issues with Gigabyte motherboards.
CPU Cooler - Liquid cool or fan based
Hard Drive - Seagate Hybrid SSD
GPU - AMD Radeon 7950 or Geforce GTX 770

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?
LG DVD Burner, Corsair 400R Case, Linksys USB WiFi Adapter, Asus VS229H-P IPS monitor

6) Will you be overclocking?
Maybe

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1080p, 21.5"

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Next month.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Whatever features it comes with

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, I have Windows 7 Home 64 Bit and Windows 8 Pro.

Next month means October. We've just entered September.

Revisit this thread a week or two before you're ready to order everything. Many of the forum regulars, including me, use sales and specials that oftentimes vary from month to month.
