Hi, I really need help with this one. I have a 15inch LCD. Philips. Cant remember the model.

What I NEED is to use only the middle of the screen. So there will just be black on the outside. If I was to maximise a window it would not take up the whole screen. Only the middle.

I can move the image left and right / up and down with the controls on the monitor but not resize the image at all.

PLEASE can anyone help me.

If it isnt possible then It might be possible to run my os. or another os? on a window or somthing. Therby achieving a similar effect.

Thanks guys,

Why the heck would you do that on such an already puny monitor? That would be so small I doubt you could see much of anything lol.

Doesn't your graphics card have screen position/size adjusments in the display properties? If not you could try Powerstrip, pretty sure it can do what you need.

Heres a good resource for Powerstrip, although the pictures don't seem to work.

I'll give you some free help. USE DESCRIPTIVE THREAD TITLES. There, I hope I could be of service.

You could set the desktop to the screen's native resolution....probably 1024*768*32bit*60hz.
