Ok I built my new computer and everything is great EXCEPT for one thing. My bfg geforce 6800 ultra will not run on the first pci-e slot of my new board, DFI nf4 SLI-DR, but it will run on the 2nd pci-e slot. The major problem is that when a single card runs on the 2nd it turns from a x16 to a x2 slot. So my bandwidth on the card is x2.

I really dont know whats going on. The only thing I can think of is that the motherboard is busted on that first pci-e slot. I really hope not cause I dont wanna have to RMA this dang thing.

Ive got the jumpers set correctly to run a single card. I dont have another pci-e card to test and see if its the video card that cant run at x16 for some reason, but I dont think it has anything to do with the card. So if you know how to fix this or have suggestions PLEASE help out.

Thank you.

Update- Well I asked at dfi street and they said another person had same problem and a bios update fixed it, so im gonna try doing that. I will update after I do this.

Update2- It didnt fix my problem. so all suggestions taken please =(.
