• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Well I was playing SWG and it froze up, which it often does, so I shut down my computer. When I go to restart it a blue screen pops up with the following error: Unmountable Boot Volume.

Does anyone know what this means? I tried to go into safe mode but that didnt work either, please , please help!

Could you walk me through repairing it? Right now im at the "recovery console". Its a black screen and all I see is C:/ or whatever it is. I dont know what to type in.

Well, there are two ways to repair.

One is the recovery console you are in right now.
Two is further down the line, an automatic repair where windows does a reinstall while still keeping all your old information.

It's been a while since I've worked from command prompt. Type in:

chkdsk

Edit:

chkdsk /r

/r will fix bad sectors.

Hopefully it will fix the problem, type 'exit' and reboot.
