This isnt hardware related, but it has to do with my MP3 files that I recorded. Awhile back I accidentally deleted a bunch of recorded MP3 files, and I used a software app (Restore My Files) to recover all my MP3 files. The only problem is when I open them in any audio player (winamp, creative studio, etc.) they are shown to be of 0 length and wont play! But the thing is, the file size is exactly the same as it was when the MP3 actually played. Is there any way I can fully restore these files and be able to play them? I tried a few audio editors (like Gold Wave, Gold Wave Editor, MP3restore, etc.) and I cant get them to do anything. I even tried to convert the MP3 back to WAV files but no luck there either-- they dont get converted back. Can anyone help me please? Thanks!
