hello. I have a Audigy 2 that has been working great up to now. i JUST recently got another 512mb stick of ram, and the audigy is not working correctly now. It crackles and pops in two of my favorite games (UT2004 and FarCry). PLEASE tell me how i might fix this. Happended immediatly after i installed the ram. Tried updating drivers, they did no good.
 
have u tried checking to see if its an IRQ conflict

or just try moving the sound card to a different PCI slot
 
Actaully it appears to have gone now. I ran a pass of Memtest with the ram in there and then everything was fine :eek: :confused:
