PLEASE HELP! Processor problem with new IDEQ

I have had my Ideq 210v now for about a month but I had trouble getting the processor for it. I just put the AMD 3200 XP in today, but once I got it up and running it is listed as 1100 mhz. I thought this might be a bios problem so I updated it -- no luck. I also cant seem to change the FSB which looks to be stuck at 100. I know this chipset is listed for 400 FSB, and so I ammumed it could handle the AMD 3200, as I also saw it listed as such at several sites. However, when I checked on the Biostar site it said the 210v only listed as high as AMD 3000+. Could this be my problem? Anyone have a 3200 in their IDEQ? Running this on Sandra I pretty much have half the specs that the default 3200 has so it doens't appear that its just a minor problem.

Well I finally managed to type the right words into google to figure out what my problem is/was. It looks like they ship some of the 210v's with the FSB set to 100mhz with the jumpers. Note to anyone who has to do this, the diagram is upside down.

Nonetheless once I set it to 400 FSB, it would stop, and then restart midway through windows starting up. Basically I had to turn it down to 166 Mhz clock speed (333 FSB) which makes it run as a 2500XP....still a lot less than I paid for.

So does anyone knoe if the 210 actucally will take a 3200? I saw on the biiostar USA page that it does, but on the .tw page it only mentions the 30000.

Second of all would this be a processor issue or a motherboard issue if you would have to hazard a guess? I am leaving for xmas break here in a week and I think I only have a 30 day warranty on the chip.

Well figured out the problem.......I have a BGF 6800nu and apparently running it with a processor running at 400FSB is a bit to much for the 200w psu to handle. I had orginally heard that the 6800's worked fine in these but I am guessing they weren't using the same processor.

Note that this does work fine when its running at a lower clockspeed. Something people may want to keep in mind. Looks lik I will see if I can pick up a 250w psu from new egg.
